Optical bonding

Optical bonding refers to bonding the transparent touch sensor with the glass cover and the full surface of the display to form a complete unit。You can find the right product for your project in a wide range of glass, custom printing and PCAP sensors。We can provide optical bonding methods such as LOCA, OCA and air gap bonding。LOCA and OCA bonding prevents parallax between the front glass, sensor and display, and improves device architecture for improved functionality, stability and optics。

ISO classification control area

In the ISO classification control area, our staff will mount the full surface laminated touch screen to the case, or to the support board or display front assembly。You can also choose the mold directly and then perform 100% testing。The molding process can be done fully automatically with a metering system developed specifically for BOPLA, or manually with a pneumatic distributor。The air-conditioned ISO control area is regulated by a special ventilation system。

In addition, the front film keyboard and display can be installed in both standard and custom cases。

Touch screen laminating

Full surface touch screen laminating only in clean rooms (ISO clean room Class 6)。

The touch screen is pre-assembled and pre-cleaned, and then sent through the material airlock to the clean room for the next step, lamination。On the laminate machine, you can use a roller with a hard or soft rubber surface, depending on the type of touch screen (capacitive/resistive, with key dome)。The laminating fixture is produced by our professional department and is composed of various conductive and non-conductive plastic parts。

We use a special textured paint to print the parts of the high-gloss film that need to be printed and matte in the process, resulting in this luxurious and high-quality design。Compared to the dome process, the highlight process is a cost effective alternative.

Lamination technology Before the first process, BOPLA has designed and developed the installation specifications for the touch screen。The touch screen is fixed to the fixture in order to accurately attach a highly transparent OCA self-adhesive layer of the right size。The touch screen and the self-adhesive layer are then permanently attached with a laminator and a hot roller, and dust particles are extruded。The next step is to laminate the front film printed on the back under the same conditions。Our clean rooms and high-quality assembly machines, as well as the many years of design and assembly experience of our staff, ensure that this complex process is carried out perfectly。Finally, check the laminated touch screen for debris, and further functional testing with the help of test tools and inspection documents。
